We had started the cosmo adventure in a co-working space. It was great: we were surrounded by entrepreneur-minded people, supported by great staff (kudos Claire and Evelyn), the space was nice, the roof top incredible, and it accommodated our growth from 1 to 13 local employees in 2017. If you’re looking for a centrally located co-working space in Singapore, I could not recommend any place more than WOTSO co-working space at 19 Cecil Street. The hard truth was that we had outgrown our co-working space.
With confirmed hires that will bring us to 30 employees by early April, we felt the dire need for more space. And then there always were those dreams about more meeting space, backboards for more brainstorming and innovation, fully equipped lobby (Nintendo switch, Sony PS4, …) and other nerd toys like 10 GbE LAN with Fibre internet access, own build and storage servers to bring chrome builds down under 5mn with our GOMA equivalent, dedicated KITE Selenium Grid , posters of WebRTC RockStars on the wall, and so on and so forth. An engineer paradise. Scratch that, a WebRTC engineer paradise 🙂
Thanks to the great work of all the team, and the very low taxes in Singapore, we could afford it. We eventually found the perfect place, just in between the very busy and entertaining Bugis Junction, and the very shiny Suntec area, where PayPal and other tech company have their headquarters. Windows from floor to ceiling, we are now enjoying a great view, in our brand new 220 sqm offices. Last week-end CoSMo’s KITE team, WebRTC client team, and System Design team moved into their new office. Big thanks to Alexandrine, for the great preparation work that made moving so easy.
The Media Server team is based in Europe (Madrid, Spain), while our Brand new Support Team is based in Manila (BGC, Taguig). All teams are growing, and have job openings.
